Bachelor dreams

I see strippers, I see cars, I see a box of Cuban cigars. I see affluence, I see stars, I see a life far away from behind bars. She’s from Venus and I’m from Mars, so there’s no need for flowers or chocolate bars.
On a constant cereal diet, coming and going as I please, to each and everyone around me I know I owe no fucking fees. Call me a player, call me a pimp or call me a plain old tease; I’d much rather have no commitments whatsoever if you please.
Beer in hand, soccer on the screen, clothes on the floor, nothing’s kept clean. A life of sin, of rum and gin, the life on this side is much much green.
No burdensome husband and wife teams, No annoying little children screams, Loneliness in old age awaits me it seems, but I evade that by waking from my sweet bachelor dreams. J
Cheers

  1. I don't agree; it's not the way to go at all. It might be fun for a while, but following that path as a way of life eventually leads to an empty soul.

  2. lol. it worked. I knew my comment would never agree with u or any sane person for that matter but lets argue it out. What do you mean by "an empty soul" you've got the money, the sex and the freedom, what else do you want that is not abstract?

  3. @LIR, I totally agree with you.
WierdSirra, I sense a sort of beef between us, for reasons presently unclear to me.

  4. Money, sex and freedom do not equal a life of fulfilment. You need other things. Like love, for instance. And by that I don't mean erotic love.

  5. love is abstract. it doesnt matter to every body. I guess happiness is a subjective thing. Its whatever you like that makes you happy and i like those 3 hence the equation Money, sex, freedom = Happiness = Life fulfilment. In fact Money = Happiness = Life fulfilment cuz theres practically nothing money cant buy to an extent except human life. Top that :)
@ O.O i seriously dont know where u got the beef idea from, my reply was aimed at LIR. As long as i get my MSF = H equation right im ok :)

  6. Hedonism IS the way to go.

Totally disagree with LIR and O.O.

Whatever we do, as human beings, we are being hedonistic. Whether it's love you want, or the moral righteousness of religion, or sex, or the thrill of killing, we do it because we derive pleasure from it. When we actively seek pain, we also derive pleasure from it.

Because WierdSirra's pleasures are of this world doesn't make those seeking abstract pleasures better than him.You go to church to please yourself; you seek love to plese yourself. You give to charity organizations to please yourself; to feel good about yourself. A dude that kills, and derives hapiness from it, how different is he from you the moralist?

No fucking difference. We are all the same; we seek pleasure and we avoid pain. We just do this in different ways; because we have different wants and different things that make us happy.

Hedonism is not only the way to go, it is the only way we go.
